This is an all-purpose seasoning that can be used to make vegetarian broth and used in soups, gravies, entrées, and you name it. I usually double or triple the recipe when I make it.

When using this seasoning in recipes, avoid holding the container over steaming food as the seasoning may take on moisture and become caked. Use a measuring spoon to dip the seasoning out of the container.


  • 1½ cups nutritional yeast flakes (not Brewer’s Yeast)
  • 3 Tbsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp ground Turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp celery seed *
  • 1 Tbsp Himalayan or sea salt or 1-2 Tbsp No Salt® if on sodium restrictions


Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until very smooth. Store in a glass container or BPA-free plastic container with secure wide-mouth lid.

To make vegetarian broth put 1 Tbsp per 8 – 16 ounces of water depending on how strong you want the broth to be,
