How to raise your EQ and increase your likelihood for success

When the book "Emotional Intelligence" was released in the mid-ninties, few readers had even heard about the concept of EQ. Fewer still understood the impact this concept could have on their overall success. Even fewer realized that behaviors could be plotted on a metaphorical EQ Continuum . . . Since the, studies related to EQ have burgeoned. Now the current belief is that your EQ skills have far more to do with your overall success in life than does your IQ. Even more helpful, you can raise your EQ whenever you want to start working on it -- and the sky is the limit! Higher levels of EQ can enhance all your relationships, minimize conflict, reduce stress, and increase your likelihood of success.

SEMINAR DESCRIPTION

When you hear the word "intelligence" mentioned, does your mind go to IQ? That's a common response. While it may not be a separate intelligence, per se, understanding the concept of EQ, Emotional Intelligence Quotient, can be vitally important. Unlike IQ, believed to be an inherited intelligence, EQ is learned. Current studies suggest that your SQ or Sucess Quotient is a combination of your IQ plus your EQ. Which do you think contributes more? You may be surprised to learn that it is EQ!

This seminar is designed to explore the hallmarks of emotional intelligence. Charactisteristics common to people with high EQ are presented along with strategies to bring “intelligence to emotion.” Examples of low-EQ behaviors versus high-EQ are included. The good news? Snce EQ is learned, you can raise yours any time you want to start working on it!
