How to manage your emotions and feelings more effectively

Many people use the words emotions and feelings interchangeably. In terms of brain function, however, they represent differing concepts. Studies have shown that emotions and feelings utilize different pathways in the human brain. According to Candace Pert PhD, emotions connect the subconscious with the conscious mind and can provide vital information to you--if you know how to read the information.

This seminar is often requested in combination with Raise Your Emotional Intelligence.

SEMINAR DESCRIPTION

This seminar is designed to explore the difference between emotions and feelings. The Emotions Staircase model is included, a tool to assist you in dealing with emotions in a new way. Examples of how to walk up the Emotions Staircase are presented. Rather than being the victim of your own emotions and feelings, you can deal with them effectively and appropriately. These simple strategies can be learned by people of almost any age—it is rarely too late to learn this empowering information and it can be taught to even young children.

TIME FRAME

Emotions and Feelings can be presented in one 50-minute  segment

TARGET AUDIENCE
