Self-esteem has to do with how much a person respects, honors, and assigns value to himself/herself. Life experiences can and do impact the level of self-esteem one develops. One’s brain lead can also influence the type of activities that increase one’s perception of personal self-worth.

Left Frontal Lobe

• Self-esteem tends to rise when the person is able to:

- Set and achieve goals
- Be in charge and make decisions
- Win!

Right Frontal Lobe

• Self-esteem tends to rise when the person is able to:

- Envision and create
- Solve problems intuitively
- Daydream and innovate freely!

Left Posterior Lobes

• Self-esteem tends to rise when the person is able to:

- Follow routines (run the software) without interruptions
- Conform to the rules
- Maintain the status quo

Right Posterior Lobes

• Self-esteem tends to rise when the person is able to:

- Avoid conflict and achieve harmony
- Maintain nurturing relationships
- Achieve a spiritual connection with a Higher Power
