Did you ever wonder what makes popcorn pop? What is it that causes that tiny kernel to burst forth into a fluffy, tasty white puff and bring such joy on a "popcorn evening"? Add some juicy apples, a good book, sit in comfort and if you're fortunate enough, have a cozy fire blazing in the fireplace. It's a scene "to die for!"

Actually just the suggestion to make some popcorn can light up eyes on most occasions. People have found many ways to enhance the popcorn using caramel, cinnamon, butter, cheese, chocolate and marshmallows and a host of other items. This appeals to a majority of the population and still the variety grows.

My admiration for this treasured food grew immensely when I discovered that inside each tiny kernel is a droplet of water that creates steam as it is heated, then bursts the outer layer, exposing the expanded inner white substance. And what about those little "duds" that turn brown and won't pop? They will still remain unpopped even when you try to reheat them because there isn't a droplet of water present.

I encounter a variety of people on a daily basis. How interesting it is to watch the different responses to the heat of new information as each searches for clues to lives that are not working, looking for possible reasons for stagnation, or a life on hold, and for answers to family dynamics or work-related situations.

People respond in varying degrees to life-changing information: that which gives a full picture of life, for the origin of where one comes from and in which direction one needs to head for a fulfilling life-a life that matches one's innate giftedness, extroversion/introversion ratio, and sensory preferences.

Working with seminar participants over the years, we have noticed the way in which indiviudals reject or accept brain-function information. Some choose to resist the necessary change and remain stuck in their old patterns of behavior. Others burst forth with renewed energy excited by the expanse of options before them, at a frontier not yet explored, at limitless possibilities, and a vision to recognize yet unbridled arenas.

We have also watched over months and years the pattern that unfolds in the lives of those who use the information to enhance their lives, their personal relationships, and their career progress. Many return to audit The Brain Program or to attend the Alumni program. As we talk with each other, they often express a sense of renewed sustaining energy, a joy never before experienced. Life is an up-and-down course and yet they have delight at the beginning of each new day along with a feeling of accomplishment and quality living when the day ends. They tell us that their mental, physical, social, and spiritual arenas have expanded and they look forward to life in a new way.

All have received some new tools to apply to life attending the BIG seminar. Properly used, the heat of awareness, coupled with family-of-origin exploration, works on the droplet of water (curiosity and desire) to enable them to experience life more fully.

You can burst into a more fulfilling future. Attend The Brain Program. Bring family and friends with you. Make use of the tools provided. You're also welcome to bring popcorn!
