Questions & Answers
Q. We bought the entire set of your DVDs and are so excited about the content that we are showing them at our large retirement center weekly. Do you have suggestions on the preferred order of playing?
A. What a great question! Schools, prisons, retirement centers, local public TV stations, churches, and other community-outreach organizations report they are playing the DVDs with enthusiastic reception. It is rewarding to receive this positive feedback!
Any of the DVDs can “stand alone.” When purchasing the entire set, however, the information can build on previous information. Therefore, here is a suggested order for 13 of the DVDs currently available:
- Your Brain is Your Bottom Line
- Seven Secrets to Communication
- You Unique Brain Lead
- Sensory Preference
- Extraversion-Introversion
- Use Your Brain for Success
- Upshift, Downshift, About Shift
- Freedom from Old Behaviors
- Managing Your Emotions
- Managing Loss Effectively
- Cellular Memory
- Age Proofing Your Memory
- How the Brain Learns Best
Additions to the current DVD series are in process, including a set related to The Brain and Male-Female Differences. Stay tuned to SynapSez® for information about production dates and availability.
Q. Explain the reason you believe the BTSA is a “must take” for those who want to build a business.
A. Conceivably you could put in the time, energy, research, and study necessary to figure out who you are innately and what your brain does energy efficiently. You might even be able to figure out your sensory preference and whether you are an extravert, ambivert, or introvert.
However, there is also a strong possibility that you might be one of the individuals for whom expectations have been so ingrained--perhaps even for generations--that it is easy to confuse what you have learned to do well with what your brain does energy efficiently. And if, by chance, you have been adapting for years, your brain may not even have the brain energy available to do the necessary processing to figure this out on its own.
The BTSA synthesizes the high points of selected brain-function research. Is it perfect? No. It is, however, built upon work by Jung (which also formed the basis for the Meyers-Briggs Temperament Inventory and the Keirsey-Bates Inventory), which was updated using brain-imaging findings.
Receiving a feedback document that helps you identify your “innate giftedness” can jumpstart your application of brain-function information by 6-9 months or more. Yes, you still have to do the work, but you have a framework within which to do so.
