Taylor has a limited schedule of life-coaching appointments available using the BTSA as the base of information (see below). There are many assessments available, and you can learn something from any of them as long as you understand what the "assessment" is designed to assess. Taylor only utilizes the BTSA as it seems the most aligned with her understanding of Prolonged Adaption Stress Syndrome (see link below).
Once you have completed the BTSA, you may be interested in attending "The Brain Program" or obtaining the set of four DVDs that will be available in early 2012. A few life-coaching sessions may be available by Sharlet Briggs PhD. If it become apparent that long-term work is needed, Taylor or Briggs may be able to provide you with referral information, depending on where you reside.
The BTSA (Benziger Thinking Styles Assessment)
The BTSA was developed by I. K. Benziger PhD as a physiological update to the work of C. J. Jung (whose work formed the basis for the MBTI and other assessments). The advantage of the updated BTSA is that it can help an individual identify adaption (refer to Practical Applications - Adaption and Falsification of Type). Estimates are that two-thirds of adults in America use their brains in ways that are personally energy-exhausting. Over time, this phenomenon can impact one’s daily life in terms of career success, relationship accord, communication effectiveness, addictive behaviors, weight-loss attempts, fatigue or exhaustion, health challenges, potential longevity, and overall success in life (to name just a few).
If you are looking for a way to jump-start your personal and professional success, take advantage of the BTSA. It has already helped thousands of individuals identify not only their developed skills but also their brain’s innate energy advantage, information that can enable them to maximize their potential.
The 20+ page BTSA feedback document based on the data you provide and prepared by Dr. Taylor in reference to your brain, can help you learn how to:
Identify your position on the EAI continuum, your sensory preference, and your brain lead
Match your career to your brain’s own energy advantage
Enhance your success while potentially preventing mid-life crises or burnout
Communicate more effectively with yourself and others
Thrive by design
