New Article
Have you ever been able to return in adulthood to a spot on this planet that was very, very special to you in childhood? Thanks to my cousin Tim, I had that opportunity last fall. Once again, it was very, very special. Perhaps even more so from the perspective of half a century. I jotted down some thoughts and recollections about that opportunity, which turned themselves into the article for this issue: Takehionwake.

Point to Ponder
The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. —Steve Jobs
I agree with Steve's perception. In my brain's opinion, the only way to love what you do is to have that aligned with what your brain does energy-efficiently. There is a way for every brain to find something it loves to do and does energy-efficiently. Sometimes you can get paid for it; sometimes you do it as an avocation for the pure pleasure it brings you. You were fortunate if you figured out what your brain loves to do early in life. If you didn't, there's no time like the present to do so. Stories arrive by e-mail nearly every week from somewhere in the world, telling me about individuals who have put in the time and energy to figure this out, and how much better their lives are working. If you haven't found it yet—for you—keep looking. In my life, taking the BTSA pointed my brain in an energy-efficient direction! And that has made all the difference . . .
